There is something about a quaint little mill nestled in the woods along a county road in October. The air was crisp and the light was warm, shining down on one of the coolest couples I’ve ever met. Marzeah and Carl were the first ones to give me a chance, to trust me to capture their special day. I am so thankful for them and smile every time I see these images. Their Halloween wedding was unique and incredibly fun. Much love to you both in your new life together (and with little dino)!
Yes, Carl had Ninja Turtle cufflinks. I may or may not have squealed at the sight of them.
These are the moments I strive to capture. More than the details and the posed shots, it’s moments like these that we love to remember. These girls were fantastic and had so much fun together.
Marzeah and Carl had two ceremonies. The first was traditional.
And the second was a Persian ceremony. A cloth was laid out on the floor with many different items representing elements of a good marriage. The couple sat under another cloth held by loved ones while a family member explained everything to the guests.
This kid was a break dancing machine! It was so awesome.
